Àfrica Fanlo

Àfrica Fanlo graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, specializing in painting and engraving. She transferred her creative interests to the publishing world and began a long career as a children’s book illustrator, with more than thirty titles published. She collaborates with Cavall Fort and Tretzevents, and in 2004, she was awarded the Junceda Prize. A teacher at BAU and Massana schools, she has participated in several workshops, such as Big Draw 2012, promoted by the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, Difumina 2012, and the Festa del Grafisme in Portbou 2009-2010.
