Luisa Vera

Luisa Vera was born in Elda, Alicante. In 1985, she completed her Fine Arts degree in Valencia and then moved to New York, where she attended the School of Visual Arts. Since 1990, she has dedicated herself professionally to illustration. Her works have been featured in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Dallas Morning News, The Wall Street Journal, The International Herald Tribune, La Vanguardia, and El País, and her characters have graced book covers, posters, catalogs, children’s stories, and exhibitions. Since 2002, she has lived in Barcelona.
